An upcoming meeting of Badenoch & Strathspey, Ardersier and Nairn District Partnership, will look at the proposed new hospital for the Highlands, it is understood.
The focus of the meeting will look at the redesign of Health and Social Care Services for Badenoch and Strathspey.
The local authority has said that Nigel Small, NHS Highland Director of Operations for South and Mid will outline the plans for the three-month consultation period that will run from 21st April to 21st July.
A key element of the consultation is the short list of four potential sites for the new hospital which was published last week. The shortlist consists of Grainish Farm, Milton, Aviemore Technology Park and Pony Field.
Gillian McCreath, who will chair the meeting, said: "It is also important that Badenoch and Strathspey residents are given the chance to have a say about the delivery of health and social care in their area and the District Partnership is a good way for them to engage with service providers. I hope we get a good turn-out for the meeting."
The meeting will be held on Thursday 24 April at the Cairngorm Hotel, Aviemore, from 1pm.
