A public form and drop-in session has been organised by The Highland Council to allow the local community to discuss proposed road improvements for the B862 at Loch Tarff.

The public session will be held at Stratherrick Hall, Gorthleck, on Wednesday 30 April from 4pm to 7pm and the findings will help to shape a schedule of works for the improvements to be carried out, with minimum impact to motorists.

In addition, the local authority added that the planned road closures at Loch Tarff, which were due to commence on 21 April, as well as at Sochick's Bend on 28 April, will not go ahead at this time.

Contractors RJ McLeod and The Highland Council are currently reviewing the design of the project to try and reduce disruption for travellers.

A public event will now be held at Stratherrick Hall on Wednesday 30 April for local residents to share any concerns they have. A similar drop-in session to discuss road improvements at Sochick's Bend will be held at Farr Hall next month.
