A public event is to be held next month to allow residents to share their views on plans to refurbish Campbeltown Town Hall.
The South Kintyre Development Trust (SKDT) are organising the event which will showcase the updated proposals. Staff will also be available to answer questions on the project, while displays from Coltart Earley Architects will outline the detailed plans for the scheme as well as future potential uses for the building.
SKDT have been successful in obtaining a £1.7m funding package to acquire and redevelop the Town Hall and aims to bring it back into use for the community.
Construction and renovation work is due to begin onsite during June 2014 and expected to be completed by August 2015.
Eric Spence, Project Coordinator for the Town Hall Project said: "This is a great opportunity for the local people to have a look at the latest plans and designs for the revamped Town Hall and to raise any issues or concerns with the architect and the Project Team."
The event will be held at Campbeltown Town Hall on Tuesday 1 April from 1pm to 7pm.
