Improvement work on water mains in Bearsden is to commence next week, Scottish Water has said.
The work, which will be carried out in the west of the town, will see customers benefit from clearer, fresher drinking water and improved security of supply.
The scheme will involve the replacement of a section of water main on the footpath in the Westbourne Crescent and Abbotsford Road area. A diversion will be in place for pedestrians during the works.
Work is expected to get underway next week (10 March) and last for approximately two weeks.
Mark Maclaren, Scottish Water's Regional Communities Team Manager, said: "We would like to thank customers, pedestrians and road-users in the area for their understanding and co-operation while we carry out this essential work."
