The Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation (ECCI) has been shortlisted for a BREEAM Award, it has been announced.
The nomination comes after the centre scored one of the five highest BREEAM Education Projects during an assessment last year.
The other entries on the shortlist are:
• Energy Technology Building (University of Nottingham)
• Ysgoi Ffwrnes Primary School (Carmarthenshire)
• Brandon Primary School (Durham)

The projects will be judged by a panel who will take into account a number of factors, such as the value of the building, to its occupies and users as well as the particular site constraints of the project.
The winner will be announced at Eco Build on Tuesday 4 March 2014.
