Scottish Canals are to undertake essential maintenance at Muirtown Swing Bridge, Caledonian Canal Crossing, Inverness.
The project will commence on Monday 17 February and last until Thursday 27 February, from midnight to 6am each day.
An alternative route will be in place for motorists, via Tomnahurich Swing Bridge, that will be signposted, while pedestrians and cyclists will be able to cross the canal using the lock gates.
The times chosen to close the route have been selected to try and minimise the impact on public transport provision, as well as to avoid conflicting with the peak times dispersal of traffic arising from the Kessock Bridge Phase 2 works plus the closure of Bank Street.
