Roadworks have resumed on one of Scotland's busiest bridge crossings.
One side of the A9 Kessock Bridge in Inverness will be closed for the next 20 weeks to allow the project to be undertaken. A contra flow system will be in operation for road users.
The work is part of a wider £13m resurfacing and repair programme.
Motorists are told to expect delays, especially during rush hour.
The first phase of the bridge resurfacing works took place last year.
