Three sheltered lounges in Dundee could be set to benefit from a series of upgrading works.

Next week, the local authority's housing committee will hear of improvement plans worth just over £63,000 for Dryburgh, Strathmore Street and Morven Terrace.

The works would be undertaken at the facilities and would include new partitions and heating renewal at Dryburgh, and improved toilet facilities at the other two locations.

Addressing the proposals, Housing Convener, Councillor John Alexander said: "I am pleased that these proposals are coming forward and I am certain that they will make a difference for the residents who use these lounges.

"This is part of our long-term and ongoing building investment commitment across the city."
