Andrew Shepherd Construction has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of an Operations Manager and Contracts Manager within its North East Scotland office in Forfar.
Paul Harding has been appointed as Operations Manager with specific responsibility for the operational strategy of the company moving forward. Paul previously worked with Seddon Construction where he was latterly Contracts Manager for Scotland, responsible for all projects in the region as well as overall operational strategy.
Paul started his career 22 years ago as a site engineer and advanced within the organisation to become operations manager. Most recently, he has overseen the delivery of a £7m contract to deliver a care home facility in Ballingry.
With a BSc (Hons) degree in Construction Management and 19 years' industry experience, Paul has gained a vast degree of experience in building within both public and private sectors and across a range of market sectors.
In addition, Mike Watt has been promoted to Contracts Manager. In this position, Mike will be responsible for the managing of multiple sites. Mike is based in Forfar and is currently managing several projects for Angus Council including their Marywell new build site in Kirriemuir. Mike originally joined Andrew Shepherd Construction in November 2000 as a site supervisor and has progressed through the ranks.
