A new development in Aberdeen has been approved by Councillors.
The housing scheme will see up to 100 homes built the West Huxterstone site on the edge of Kingswells.
The recommendations for the application by Stewart Milne Homes, received widespread support from the members of the Council's Planning Development Management Committee.
Four house types are to be constructed on the site, and will range in size from three to five-bedrooms. They will comprise of eight two-storey detached, four two-storey semi-detached, 29 one-two storey semi-detached and 36 three-storey town houses. An additional 20 two-storey, two-bedroom affordable housing units will also be built.
The main access into the site will be taken from Lang Stracht, with a second access being created at the south-west corner of the site.
