Shop Front Improvement Scheme Launched

A new Shop Front Improvement Scheme has been launched in West Lothian.

The project, organised by Linlithgow and Linlithgow Bridge Town Centre management Group (LLBTMG), aims to help town centre businesses.

Under the scheme, a fund of £20,000 is available for local businesses to apply for grants to help with shop front improvements.

Town Centre Manager Stewart Ness said: "It's vital in this economic climate to make sure the town centre looks its best. By supporting businesses through this scheme, we can ensure locals and visitors continue to make Linlithgow a destination of choice."

The Council's Executive Councillor for Development and Transport, Cathy Muldoon added: "I would like to congratulate the Town Centre Management Group on setting up the first Shop Front Improvement Scheme which is aimed at keeping the High Street looking its best and vibrant. I'm sure that the extra support will be welcomed by local traders."
