Aberdeen Council has said a number of traffic restrictions will be in place on its west end roads from today (11 November).
The roads, which include Great Western Road, are closed due to mains clearing works by Scottish Water.
The restrictions commence at 9.30am and will remain in place until midnight on 24 November, to allow for any potential setbacks with the project.
It is hoped the works can be completed within a few days.
The restrictions are as follows:
• Great Western Road will be open to westbound traffic only between Ashley Road and Brighton Place. An alternative route will be via Brighton Place, Union Grove, and Ashley Road.
• Brighton Place will be open to northbound traffic only between Great Western Road and Union Grove. An alternative route will be available via Union Grove, Ashley Road and Great Western Road.
• Parking restrictions will be in place at points along on Forest Avenue.
• There will be no right-turns from Pitstruan Place onto Great Western Road, and no left-turns from Ashley Park Drive onto Great Western Road. An alternative route will be available via Brighton Place, Union Grove and Ashley Road.
Motorists are warned to expect delays.
