Neilston Leisure Centre is now officially opened, East Renfrewshire Council has said.
The facility recently underwent a refurbishment project worth £350,000.
Last year, the centre was forced to close due to concerns over the swimming pool's circulation systems, plus a general maintenance of the building. As a result, the local authority pledged the funds to carry out the works needed to re-open the facility.
Work has now been completed and the centre is fully open to the public.
Councillor Mary Montague attended the opening ceremony and said: "It's great to see Neilston Leisure Centre available to the people of the village once again.
"We know how popular it is with local residents and how much they missed it while the work was going on.
"That's why we made sure the investment required for the improvements was identified and work got under way as quickly as possible."
