It has been reported that a renewable energy firm is considering a bid for a wind farm in the Borders.
According to the BBC, 2020 Renewables is in the "very early stages" of plans to build a 22-turbine development at Whitelaw Brae.
It is understood the company has submitted a scoping request to the Scottish Government for the Whitelaw Brae site, near Tweedsmuir.
Development director Jillian Adams is quoted as saying 2020 Renewables is seeking input from "a wide range of stakeholders" on the proposals, adding that the firm would continue to "engage" with the community after it received feedback for the project.
