Eco Insulate Ltd is celebrating its fourth year as Scotland's longest established Icynene contractor.
In addition, the business has expanded as it worked across a number of market sectors.
The past year has seen the company successfully complete a major contract in the Outer Hebrides.
This project involved the insulation of around 120 properties and a variety of other projects, ranging from private new build, to industrial buildings, while discussions are also underway with a leading university in the north east of Scotland, currently researching the benefits of Spray-applied foam insulation on behalf of a large public sector client.
Their MD, Bryan Woods, explained: "Last year was particularly tough but we have benefitted from our experience and financial strength to take advantage of the upsurge in building work all around the country.
"It's tempting during the tougher times for businesses to chase work by slashing rates and for some in the insulation industry it has proved fatal as their business failed. Of course we had to remain competitive during this period but by keeping a close eye on the bottom line we ensured continuity and expect a further increase in business especially with the Government's ECO and Green Deal initiatives now settling in."
