A temporary closure of the U1451 Ruilick – Drumindorsair – Torgormack Road, between Kilmorack and Beauly, will be in place from Monday 30 September.
The closure will remain until Monday 7 October.
This is to allow a contractor, working on behalf of SSE, to excavate and place electricity cables within the public road boundary. This work can only be safely undertaken within a road closure.
No vehicles will be allowed to travel through the closed section, due to the width and depth of the excavation, on a narrow single track section of road.
Access to local properties will be maintained.
Advance warning signs are now in place and the Highland Council has said the contractor will arrange for a letter drop to local residents.
