Emergency repair works are to continue on the slipway at Ardgour from Monday 26 August.
The works will last for a period of four weeks, the Highland Council has said.
The repairs are necessary to ensure the operation of the Corran Ferry service can continue uninterrupted.
The work will be carried out in night shifts each evening throughout the four-week timeframe, which will allow the scheme to be completed as soon as possible and to avoid ferry operations.
For the most part, the improvements will be conducted underwater, with surface machinery supporting the operations located in the vehicle marshalling area away from nearby properties in order to keep noise and disruption to a minimum.
The Council apologises for any inconvenience caused by the essential works.
