Aberdeen Council has said a southbound section of the bus lane on King Street – between the Errol Street and Seaforth Road junctions – is to be resurfaced.
Work is scheduled to begin on the project on Friday evening (23 August).
A number of traffic restrictions will be in place as a result, and will be removed by 6am on Monday.
The diversions are:
• Seaforth Road will be shut for 10 metres from its junction with King Street
• Erroll Street will be shut for 10 metres from its junction with King Street
• Mounthooly Way will be open to westbound traffic only between King Street and the police station access.
An alternative route for the Seaforth Road and Errol Street closures is available via King Street, East North Street and Park Street, while an alternative route for eastbound vehicles which would have used Mounthooly Way is available via West North Street and King Street.
Temporary traffic signals will be in use at the junctions of King Street with Mounthooly Way, Seaforth Road and Erroll Street during the works.
