Melville Joinery has completed one its largest resin repair jobs in Scotland.
The firm repaired the store and welding room roof at Govan shipyard for BAE.
The roof, which had been constructed in the late 1800s, had been leaking for a number of years and this allowed material to drip through to the beams below. A lot of difficult angles had to be completed accurately and on time with the project, with four engineers surveying the work in three different areas. Passing first time, the firm has now been given the go ahead to move onto the next phase of work which included 14 areas.
Edinburgh-based Melville Joinery was established in 2000 and has more than 20 years experience in the sector, as well as in dry, wet rot and resin repairs.
