West Dunbartonshire Council's maintenance and repairs service has been awarded a new two-year contract with Clydebank Housing Association (CHA), Housing News has said.
The Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) has been one of CHA's approved contractors for the last four years. During this time, the firm has been carrying out necessary repairs to empty properties to bring them back up to standard so they can be re-let.
The Council has also been praised for its efforts in providing CHA's emergency out-of-hours contractor service.
In March, the council team made its successful bid to be included in CHA's Approved Contractors List for 2013 to 2015.
Helen Turley, Head of Housing and Community Safety said: "We are passionate about continuous improvement and we looking forward to exceeding the already high quality services we provide to CHA's tenants and residents.
"The continuing partnership supports the council's objectives in demonstrating its services do provide value for money and high quality services. We are pleased that we are able to continue with our strong partnership with CHA and provide both its out-of-hours emergency and void house repairs services for the next two years."
