The final touches are being carried out to a new £31.2m Olympia leisure centre in Dundee, Urban Realm has said.
The new leisure pool and multi-storey car park has been designed by Dundee City Council's architectural services division, and is situated on East Marketgait.
As part of the redevelopment, the facility boasts an Olympic-sized swimming pool, health suite, café and flumes.
The building is situated alongside a roundabout, but it is accessible from both road networks and pedestrian routes.
In a design statement the architects said: "… as far as was practicable the building was kept back from the curving NW boundary to the roundabout to effectively widen the perceived 'pavement' and pedestrian zone. This is then broken down with a low level plinth which acts as a buffer zone between the pedestrian and the bulk of the building."
The new centre is scheduled to open on 24 June, but it was initially due to open in September 2012.
