David Wilson Homes East Scotland is to build 178 new homes at a site at Fairmilehead.
Situated in the south side of Edinburgh, the development will see a selection of two-bedroom apartments, three bedroom semi-detached and terraced homes, and four bedroom detached homes available.
The architecture and design of the homes has been based on Scottish heritage to create quality, traditional family homes and features include steep roof pitches and vertical window proportions, while inside, the homes will be designed to create open family living areas with free flowing space. Windows and glazed features on rear elevations let light stream the floors, enhancing the living environment.
Commenting on the development, Anne Ross, Sales Director at David Wilson Homes East Scotland said: "We are delighted to announce our plans to build 178 new homes at Fairmilehead.
"Fairmilehead is located near to the City Bypass and provides excellent commuter links. There are lots of local amenities including great schools, shopping and leisure facilities including Hillend Ski Centre, making this the ideal location for growing families with busy lifestyles."
