Link Group Ltd, one of Scotland’s housing, regeneration and support organisations, has appointed new contractors to provide its landscape maintenance service.

JMK Groundcare Ltd will provide the service in Ayrshire, Dunbartonshire, Glasgow, the Highlands, Inverclyde, Lanarkshire and Renfrewshire areas, while Land Engineering Ltd will provide the service in Clackmannanshire, the Borders, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Fife, Perth, West & Midlothian and Stirling regions.

Both contracts are for a period of four years and commenced at the beginning of last month (1 April). They have a combined value of £1.6m.

Colin Culross, Link Group Director of Development and Asset Management said: "We look forward to building successful working relationships over the next four years with both JMK Groundcare and Land Engineering Ltd.

"We have been working with Link’s Tenant Led Inspection Group over the last 12 months to help improve this service. As a result, we made a number of changes to the contract which we hope will provide a high standard of service from the contractors whilst still providing value for money for our customers."
