Design Awards For Renfrewshire Firm

D.M Dreams Limited has won two major awards for one of its design features.

The product, Sunbreeze, fits to French or Double Doors to prevent trapped fingers as well as damage to property.

The product, which is the creation of Director David Halliday, was launched at this year's Fit Show in Birmingham and follows on from winning awards for Design and Innovation, including Scotland's Top Business Award.

The John Logie Baird Awards are designed to recognise and celebrate innovation. The company was awarded Highly Commended in the Knowledge Transfer Champion category. The second award was Highly Commended in the Homebuilding & Renovating Product Excellence Awards.

Michael McGrory, Director of D.M Dreams, said: "To win an award associated with John Logie Baird – one of the world’s most recognised inventors – is not only a tremendous honour for us but an achievement for our company."
