Burntisland Fabrications Ltd (BiFab) has recruited 15 new apprentices at their base at the Energy Park in Methill.
Each of the apprentices have been recruited locally and will undertake General Fabrication training before specialising as welders or platers.
Over the past four years, the firm has recruited 70 apprentices who are in various stages of completion.
The 15 new recruits will follow the same programme and gain the same skill set.
Martin Adam, BiFab’s Operations Director said: "We recognise that there is a demand for fabrication apprenticeships in Fife, having started a very successful programme four years ago. Our first group of apprentices have now completed both their college qualifications and on-site training and are now fully integrated in our workforce. The second group of apprentices completes their training shortly.
"There is an opportunity for the individuals entering the scheme to obtain qualifications and a skill set to a high standard, which will provide them with a long-term employment opportunity in the fabrication industry."
