Dumfries and Galloway-based Eco Insulate Ltd. is supporting the Warm Homes Campaign 2013, which launched on National Fuel Poverty Awareness Day on 1 February.
The campaign runs across the UK throughout February with the aim of raising awareness of the problem of fuel poverty and the solutions available to those who are struggling to heat their homes affordably.
The campaign has been organised by Energy Action Scotland (EAS) and National Energy Action (NEA), with support from the Home Heat Helpline.
Fuel poverty is a problem in Scotland which can affect all tenants, although those in older, remote or exposed properties are more at risk.
Such properties tend to fall in the 'Hard to Heat' category and often need specialist insulation treatment where conventional materials have proved unsuitable.
The use of injectable low pressure foam materials can help to address these situations, according to Eco Insulate.
MD Bryan Woods remarked: "As a corporate member of Energy Action Scotland we are pleased to help raise awareness of the Warm Homes Campaign, which highlights the problems being experienced by people of all ages and from all backgrounds. I would encourage anyone who feels they are struggling to heat their homes to contact either Energy Action Scotland or the Home Heat Helpline on 0800 336699."
Eco Insulate Ltd. operates throughout Mainland Scotland, The Western Isles, Orkney, Shetland, Tyne and Wear, North and South Yorkshire and Wales.
