N.E.T.’s Tom Wallace has been approved as an instructor by the WJA.
Mr Wallace has been working in the water jetting industry for many years. His company use robotic equipment when and where possible, in order to optimise safety during operations.
He will now be acting as an instructor and operating under guidelines set by WJA. The City & Guilds courses provide the certification required by workers using high pressure or ultra high pressure jetting techniques.

The Safety Awareness course is carried out over one day and raises awareness of the safety aspects of water jetting, including the necessary PPE and safe handling of all equipment.
Following the Safety Awarness, trainees are then free to add the following to their WJA card: Surface Cleaning and Preparation, Drain and Sewer Cleaning, Cutting and Breaking and Tube and Pipe Cleaning.
Courses are held at N.E.T. Waterjet Ltd.’s premises in Perth, but can also be brought to an employer's facility, provided it is suitable.
