Clackmannanshire Council is teaming up with Energy Saving Scotland to provide information for residents on funding applications for green heating schemes.
The event will be held at Dollar Civic Centre, Dollar on Wednesday, 6 February between 19:00 and 21:00.
Housing Convener Councillor Les Sharp said: "Green heating needn't break the bank, with a range of financial support available, now is a great time to consider a new heating system."
Interest-free loans of up to £10,000 are being made available from the Scottish government, while grants of up to £1,250 are being put forward by the UK government.
In addition to this, residents may be able to earn cash from heating systems through the UK government's domestic Renewable Heat Incentive scheme.
This scheme should be available from summer 2013, according to Clackmannanshire Council.
The Energy Saving Scotland advice centre is funded by the Scottish government and offers free, impartial advice.
Advisors are on hand and can be contacted on 0800 512 012.
