Three Forth Valley construction consultancy firms have been selected by Stirling Council to supplement the work of the Landlord Services team at times of peak demand.

The firms have been added to the Framework Agreement list, which provides the names of Clerk of Works suppliers approved to undertake a range of works projects on public buildings, including schools, offices, community centres, care homes and depot facilities.

The three successful companies are:

John Arnott Associates Limited, Cromlix, Dunblane

Ross Quality Control Limited, Melville Terrace, Stirling

Clerk of Works Inspection Services Limited, Bo'ness

All of the firms had to "demonstrate experience of quality management services on complex refurbishment projects across all building trades, a detailed awareness of Construction, Design and Management Regulations (CDM) and Construction Safety, along with general Health & Safety at Work to become part of the Framework Agreement," a statement from Stirling Council said.

Stirling Council Portfolio Holder with responsibility for Finance, Economy and Culture Councillor Neil Benny explained: "These local companies will supplement the work of the Council's in-house team at times of peak demand to make sure the valuable expertise and experience needed to get the work done on time and to a high standard is always available."
