Construction companies are being invited to apply for or renew contracts with the Highland Council, as the body begins reviewing its Contractors Framework agreement.
The agreement will be used by the Council for selecting contractors to carry out works, including day to day repairs, general maintenance works and minor projects up to the value of £50,000.
The framework has now reached a six-monthly interval and is being re-opened and re-advertised.
Existing contractors are invited to update their information, while new contractors are being encouraged by the Highland Council to apply.
Any renewed or new submission must be submitted before midday on 29 January 2013.
The current framework agreement will expire on 3 March 2013, with the new agreement beginning on 4 March 2013.
Existing contractors content with their submissions need do nothing more, as their inclusion will continue with their current status and information.
New contractors to the framework should download a copy of the Supplier Appraisal Questionnaire at www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk.
Further details can be found at www.highland.gov.uk/framework.
