Morris & Spottiswood has said it is aiming to double turnover in England and Wales following the opening of a new office in Warrington.

George Morris, chairman of the £84m-turnover Scottish firm, said: "This is a huge moment for our business.

"This investment is a statement of intent and aims to catapult us further into the nationwide market for our services.

"Our ambition is to ramp up our sales in the North West, England and Wales to 50% of turnover from its current position of 25%.
