SHR Launches Two Recommended Practice Publications

The Scottish Housing Regulator (SHR) has launched two Recommended Practice publications focusing on Business Planning and Strategic Asset Management.

Michael Cameron, SHR Chief Executive, said: "Publishing clear, practical, accessible information for social landlords is one way in which we can help landlords to drive their own improvement and deliver value for money.

"Business planning and asset management are closely linked and have strategic importance for social landlords. Effective business planning is ever-more important in these difficult economic times and with the increasing complexity of the operating environment. Strong service delivery is built on the effective use of assets.

"I would encourage all landlords to take the time to consider the publications."
