A plan to revamp central Perth premises as part of the near-million-pound 'Almondbank II' education project was unveiled yesterday, the Perthshire Advertiser has reported.
Perth and Kinross Council has followed up a commitment to improve education facilities made when it confirmed its budget in February by lodging a formal planning application for the development.
The former PKC administration pledged a total of £62 million to improving schools across the county.
The current education resource centre at George Inn Lane is to be extended into the upper floor for education use with new windows to be installed to improve energy efficiency.
PKC applied to change the use of the council-owned office this week.
