West Coast Energy is offering landowners the opportunity to partner on large wind energy installations, giving them 'hands'-off' benefits for up to 20 years after installation. The company will offer its project development expertise and financial strength as well as a guaranteed income stream to landowners over a project's lifespan, in return for rights to erect wind turbines on their property.
A spokesperson for West Coast Energy said the company was "confident in its 16 plus successful years in the onshore wind energy development sector, resulting in extensive in-house expertise and experience in key areas such as grid connection, wind measurement, planning and turbine procurement will ensure smooth progress through the development process".
Neil Wyn-Jones, Development Manager at West Coast Energy, said: "If landowners have land that they feel may be suitable for wind energy development we would be happy to carry out a free initial wind assessment and to discuss the options with them."
