Aberdeen-based Aiken Group has just completed a significant contract which brings about a geographical first for the multi-discipline firm.
From its Torry headquarters, Aiken Group manufactured three communications modules comprising one A60 safe area and two A60 Zone 11 for use by Westhill-based communications firm Nessco in Iraq – the first time Aiken Group has created modules for use there.
Aiken Group managing director Danny Donald said: "We are pleased to announce the completion of this important project which underlines our company’s ongoing organic growth."
Nessco project manager Graeme Price added: "We are delighted with the professionalism and helpfulness shown by Aiken Group throughout this project."
With a turnover last year of £12 million, Aiken Group is a leading multi-discipline company specialising in accommodation upgrades, refurbishments and new-builds worldwide. It is headquartered on Crombie Road employs 60 staff at its Aberdeen headquarters, as well as around 100 personnel worldwide.
