Blairs Windows, one of the UK’s finest timber window and door manufacturer, has partnered with Sikkens who have a strong UK industry background in their field of wood finishes.
Allan French of Blairs enthused: "Blairs has represented best-of-the best class quality for over 100 years. This makes our partnership extremely strong, and gives our customers the benefit of two strong brands working together to provide excellent products and service.
"The match between Blairs and Sikkens gives a truly bespoke service to our discerning clientele. We encourage our customers to engage in our design and specification process to ensure the end product is exactly what they want and using the extensive experience of both Blairs and Sikkens has resulted in some outstanding projects across the UK. These projects can be viewed on our website www.blairswindows.co.uk and our office number is 01475 721256.
"We provide custom made traditional windows & doors made by highly trained craftsmen in softwood and hardwood timber. We can offer fully factory paint or stain finishes by Sikkens."
Opaque Paints
Opaque Paints are particularly robust and mainly intended for outdoor use. The paint is micro porous and ideal use for our UK weather. The lifespan of wooden windows and doors is considerably extended and will look as good as first installed with opaque paints and we can match to any RAL colour.
Translucent Stains
The natural look of the wood grain is particularly accentuated by translucent stain finishes and the coating ensures the optimum protection of the wood. This allows the beauty of the window to shine through.
Dual Finish
Due to product expansion & customer demand together with Sikkens, Blairs have introduced a Dual Finish specification which is proving extremely popular. This specification has the Paint coating externally and a Stain coating internally.
