Three employees at a local firm have been celebrating a total of ninety years of service.

Infrastructure, support services and construction group Robertson held a celebration evening at Glen Moray Distillery recently to commend three members of staff for their contribution to the business.

Estimating manager Albert Stewart, 57, Elgin, has been with the firm for 40 years after starting his career at 17 with Doric Construction in Aberdeen.

Doric were acquired by Robertson in 1989 and Albert now oversees the estimating function across the whole Robertson construction group.

Joiner David Thomson, 42, and project manager Mike Turner ,41, both from Fochabers celebrated 25 years of service each. David currently works across sites in Moray and Aberdeenshire while Mike is the project manager for the new Banff and Buchan College in Fraserburgh.

Executive Chairman Bill Robertson said: "It is largely thanks to skilled and loyal employees like Albert, David and Mike that Robertson has gone from strength to strength and continues to thrive.

"I would like to thank all three for their commitment and dedication over the years."
