Hospital Build Sites Considered

A map of five possible locations for the new £200m Dumfries general hospital is to be put on display at the town's DG One complex.

If the hospital does not stay on its current site it could be built at the Garroch or Lockerbie roundabouts on the A75, south of Tinwald Downs Road or in Locharbriggs.

The Scottish government is seeking the health board to prepare an outline business case for the hospital.

People in Dumfries can view the plans between 11:00 and 15:00 at the DG One centre.
