One of Scotland’s top commercial lawyers has been appointed to the Board of Glasgow Housing Association (GHA).
Sheila Gunn, a highly-accomplished lawyer and accredited mediator, took up her new role with Scotland’s biggest social landlord at the end of November.
Mrs Gunn, who lives in Strathaven, has worked in legal private practice for 23 years and has a track record of Board-level success as counsel to some of the UK’s leading companies, including Scottish Power, Cairn Energy plc and Ignis Asset Management.
She has extensive experience in the housing sector, having advised Ark Housing Association and Hanover Housing Association over many years on a wide range of issues. She is also a member of the Institute of Directors.
Mrs Gunn said: "I am delighted to take up this prestigious post with GHA and I look forward to working with my fellow Board members to deliver a first class service to tenants across Glasgow."
