As part of a multi-million pound project and one of the most significant educational developments in Scotland for many years, column casing manufacturer Contour Casings Ltd has been chosen to supply 88 PPC Aluminium column casings at Banff & Buchan College, Aberdeenshire.

The column casings, with feature capping detail and in heights of up to 6m, are located in a bright, modern, double-height atrium, as well as contemporary coffee area and learning resource zone.

Mike Turner, from Contractors Robertson, said: "The product was seen as a competitive alternative to the column casings specified by the Architect. The client’s Project Managers have commented on how good they look and the Architect is very happy with the final product."
