A Moray construction firm has been selected to build the proposed European Marine Science Park at Dunstaffnage park in Argyll.
Elgin-based Robertson Group will deliver the first phase of the development near Oban and during the course of this time, the firm will employ 75 staff and subcontractors.
Robertson will run the job from its Inverness office and will be on-site as soon as next month.
In a recent statement regional managing director for Robertson, Frank Reid, emphasized the company's commitment to engaging with the nearby communities during the development to ensure its smooth outcome.
Costing an estimated £7.5million, the park will provide about 125 jobs when it is completed.
