A leading construction industry supplier recently provided Bradford University’s new School of Health with specially customised Royale timber cladding to enhance its efforts to become a greener university.
The Blairgowrie-based A. Proctor Group specialise in the provision of acoustic floor and wall solutions, ground gas protection, thermal insulation, condensation control and timber cladding designed to meet the ever evolving requirements of the construction industry.
The Royale timber cladding they supplied to the new Farrell & Clark designed building featured a Board & Batten profile in natural colours to blend in with the surrounding environment.
The cladding requires low maintenance and comes with a standard 30 year warranty
against rot and decay, ensuring specifier and client confidence in the longevity of the
product.
Royale timber cladding has superior weathering properties, but is also an environmentally sound exterior cladding.
The Osmose treatment gives softwood the typical properties of hardwood, by increasing the water resistance and stability, thereby enabling them to be used in applications generally more suited to hardwoods.
