Resurfacing work is scheduled to begin on Dundee Street in Carnoustie.

Maintenance starts on Monday, 3 October and will take two weeks to complete.

The work will be carried out in two phases.

The first phase is from Burnside Street to Links Avenue and the road will be closed while this is being carried out.

Traffic will be diverted via Brown Street, Kinloch Street and Links Avenue and the bus service will also be affected.

The usual bus route will be diverted using Burnside Street, Kinloch Street and Links Avenue and a temporary bus stop will be in place at the Dundee Street/Burnside Street junction.

Phase two of the resurfacing work will be from Links Avenue to Queen Street.

The road will be open during this phase but traffic management measures will be in place.
