Parks & Countryside will shortly begin repairing the accident damage to the boundary wall of Pittencrieff Park in Dunfermline.
While on site the opportunity will be taken to carry out some additional maintenance work to the structure. Work will start on Saturday 17 September, 2011, and is expected to take around two weeks to complete.
This boundary wall extends along Coal Road, Lovers Loan and Milton Green in Dunfermline. To ensure the health and safety of the workforce and the public a temporary road closure will be in place on these roads for the duration of the works.
A diversion route for will be signposted for drivers via West Nethertown Street, Nethertown Broad Street, St Margarets Drive, Carnegie Drive, Glen Bridge and Pittencrieff Street.
Access for the emergency services will be maintained at all times. Access for residents and to businesses will be maintained at the contractor’s discretion.
Every effort will be made to minimise inconvenience to road users and any disruption will be kept to a minimum.
