New Services to support future development at Dundee Waterfront are set to be installed as part of the work to realign one of the major routes through the area.
Gas pipes and ducts for electricity and telecoms will be installed from Monday July 11 for four weeks.
The work will divert major utility plant across the eastbound lanes of the South Marketgait at its junction with Riverside roundabout.
Dundee City Council is working closely with contractor, Farrans and local stakeholders to carry out the work in the shortest time possible.
During the work the eastbound carriageway will be reduced to a single lane which may cause disruption to traffic at peak times. Pedestrian crossing to the railway station will be maintained.
