Constructionline, the Government-backed service that helps organisations tender for builders, has appointed Paul Hepples as business development manager (BDM) for Scotland and Emanni Renell as business development manager (BDM) for the West Midlands.
As BDMs, Paul and Emanni’s roles will be to help organisations in public and private sectors reduce the amount of time and money spent on finding contractors.
Paul previously worked as a business development and commercial manager for Avonside Roofing Ltd based in North West England.
Emanni joins Constructionline from East London Business Place where her role was to help local businesses secure contracts on the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic construction projects.
Constructionline is used by over 70 per cent of local authorities across the UK and operates a database of approximately 21,000 contractors and consultants.
Barry Ashley, head of business development at Constructionline, said: “Our service aims to reduce the number of organisations using inefficient procurement processes.
“Paul and Emanni both have years of experience within the construction industry which will help us to create and improve the links between quality contractors and potential clients.”
