Quotient Clinical, which is part of the Quotient Bioresearch Group, has taken 2,440 sq ft of mixed business and research accommodation at Livingstone House, Discovery Terrace, on Heriot Watt Research Park in Edinburgh.
The lease is for five years and the quoting rent was £13.50 a sq ft. Quotient Clinical is moving to the new accommodation from elsewhere on the park.
Iain Mercer, group managing director, Cosmopolitan Investments, commented: "This was the first vacancy to have arisen in Livingstone House since its completion in 2005. The levels of interest when this suite came to the market were extremely good proving that accommodation of this dimension is ideal for the science and research and development market in Edinburgh. We are delighted that Livingstone House is the base for Quotient's new data management and reporting office."
David Chalmers of Quotient Clinical (VP Biometrics) said: "We are delighted to have concluded lease negotiations with Cosmopolitan Investments. The suite in Livingstone House is ideal in terms of location and quality of accommodation for our team of clinical data professionals. We are particularly pleased to be able to continue our presence on the Heriot-Watt Research Park, having already been located here for more than 20 years."
The landlord was represented by Savills and Drivers Jonas Deloitte while the tenant was self-represented.
