Shepherd Sells Caledonian Bar

Acting on behalf of insolvency specialist Hastings & Co, Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has sold the Caledonian Bar in Wishaw for £70,000 to a private purchaser.

Located at 406 Caledonian Road, Wishaw, Lanarkshire, the Caledonian Bar had gone out of business.

Jamie Savage, commercial surveyor at Shepherd, said: "As the recession continues to take effect, a number of repossessions arising across the licensed trade are creating opportunities for private developers to acquire properties at competitive prices."
