Resurfacing work is underway on the carriageways of Swan Street and Clerk Street in Brechin and will last for around five days.

The work is being carried out on behalf of the council by King Contractors Perth Ltd.

While the work is underway the roads will be closed between High Street and Panmure Street.

West bound traffic from the A90 Dundee to Aberdeen road will be diverted via Airlie Street / Latch Road / Distillery Road.

South bound traffic travelling to the A90 Dundee to Aberdeen road will be diverted via South Esk Street / Union Street / High Street / Church Street.

Domestic refuse collection will not be affected and bins and recycling boxes should be put out as normal.

Any changes to bus services during the works will be displayed on the relevant bus stops.
