There's a major event on the way to highlight the benefits of total construction in natural stone.
According to organisers, Kirk Natural Stone Developments, there is a common perception that the use of natural stone for entire buildings is cost prohibitive, therefore usage is often restricted to features. However, the long term benefits of total construction in stone, both in financial and environmental terms, are compelling and well worth further consideration.
The event, at the Holiday Inn Express, Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre will include presentations from leading experts include an overview of natural stone construction systems, whole life costing in relation to natural stone and the green credentials of stone as a building material.
Awareness will be raised amongst architects, property developers, Government authorities and builders, of the significant long term benefits that total construction in natural stone offers, for those who use and maintain buildings of all types.
It takes place on Friday 4 March from 10am to 1.30pm with a cost of £35+VAT/delegate including lunch.
